The "Abreu Agency" was founded in Oporto in 1840, by Mr. Bernardo Abreu and still belongs to the same family and his direct descendants, and is currently in the fifth generation. Focused on Travel and Tourism, it has 150 stores in Portugal, as well as offices in Spain, Brazil, the United States and Angola.
In 1895 the cargo transport management for Brazil and for Africa began to become so common that in 1957 the Cargo department was created. The continuous growth in the parent company of the cargo transport business led to the creation of an autonomous company in 1994: "ABREU - CARGA E TRÂNSITOS, LDA.". The financial stability that characterizes ABREU Group's history has allowed us to establish solid partnerships with our clients, agents and suppliers.

We have offices and warehouses in Lisbon, Oporto, Madeira (Funchal and Madeira Airport) and the Azores (São Miguel - Ponta Delgada Airport, Terceira Island - Angra do Heroísmo and Aerogare Civil das Lajes, and on the Faial Island - Horta). In 2011 Abreu Logistics committed to its internationalization, through the opening of offices in Luanda - Angola, where we have aerial and sea cargo services.
